Registered Nursing Program
An applicant must fulfill the following requirements to be enrolled as a regular student in the Associate of Science in Nursing program:
- High School Diploma and/or recipient of Equivalent (General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Regarding students that have High School Diplomas from foreign, non-English speaking countries, they will be required to obtain, in addition to a certified translation in English of the High School Diploma, a certified document stating that the translated diploma is equivalent to the High School level in the United States.
- Pass a Level II Background Check
- Pass a urinary Drug Screening
- Prospective students must be beyond the age of compulsory education (18 years old) or have proof of emancipation.
- Applicants must hold an Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Card.
- Achieve an entrance exam score of one of the following or provide proof of completed bachelor’s degree;
The TEAS is Justee College’s official entrance exam. Applicants may be granted acceptance into the nursing program based upon equivalent entrance test scores on other qualifying exams including ACT, SAT, HESI A2, and TEAS, or evidence of a previously earned bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution. Minimum Admission tests scores are below. Test scores must have been earned within the last five years of the student’s school start date. | |

The TEAS is Justee College’s official entrance exam. Applicants may be granted acceptance into the nursing program based on equivalent entrance test scores on other qualifying exams, including ACT, SAT, HESI A2, and TEAS, or evidence of a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution. The Application Process for RN
The application for admissions process is as follows:
- Complete an admissions application.
- Complete a personal interview with a school representative.
- Tour the school facilities.
- Take the TEAS test.
- Pass a Level II Background test.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Receive and read all required pre-enrollment disclosures.
- Provide documentation of a current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

- Read the Enrollment Agreement
- Make financial arrangements to cover tuition and fees
Upon completion of the application process, the school will consider the prospective student’s application. Once accepted, the applicant will be responsible for arrangements for tuition payments, signing the Enrollment Agreement, and paying for the criminal background check and registration fees. Once the Enrollment Agreement has been signed, the student will be required to attend a comprehensive orientation held before the first day of class. Prospective students who were denied admission, and would like to view their file, may submit a written request. Access to view the file will be granted within 24 to 48 hours of the request.
Test OF Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)
TEAS is a computerized reading, mathematics, science, and language basic skills exam, which takes approximately two hours to complete. The TEAS is offered by appointment.
